30168- REMINGTON-RIDER MODEL 1902 ROLLING BLOCK 7X57MM MILITARY RIFLE. Many sold to on contract to various countries in the pre WW1 era and later sold as surplus by Bannerman’s. Probably saw use as a parade rifle by a school of veteran’s post as it has been nickel plated and blued and has seen lots of use with wear to both metal and wood. Complete with exception of front sight blade and barrel band retaining spring which are missing. However, the action is still very tight and the bore not too bad with reasonably good rifling with some moderate frosting.
